March, I love you, but you're bringing me down.

I know, I know. I haven't posted for a while. Or maybe you haven't noticed. Either way, I'm here to stop this nonsense and give you a run-down of my life. Spoiler Alert: there has been very little change.

February Break, Lost Traction and Radiators

Today Erika and I dropped Grace off at the bus station in Portland so she could get to Vermont for a few days. It started to snow just before Erika and I started to drive back to Bates. I had Erika drive because I had never driven in snow...well she hadn't either but was a more experienced driver. Our Prius lost traction in the snow three times, within 5 minutes of each other, all only 2 miles from school. We first almost ran into a stopped car in front of us, and then almost glided into oncoming traffic, and then almost hit a car that was driving forward as we were turning left but couldn't stop. Luckily Erika utilized snow drifts to stop our car. I was intensely impressed with her accident-avoidance skills. I would have probably got us killed.

SNOWWWWW DAYYYYY

So today a large storm hit and it snowed the entire day. Because of this I've been neglecting most of my duties and my work for the day. So I have a lot of reading to do that's due tomorrow and I've started it very late in the night so I cannot create an entire blog post tonight.  I will, however, update it tomorrow so that I can fully explain to you what wonderful things are going on in my life. Also fun fact I'm using the microphone dictation tool on the iPhone keyboard to write this message out. 我想你们都奇妙。Oh my God I can do it in Chinese too this is amazing. Okay goodnight you gorgeous popsicles!

PRO(fessional)CRASTINATOR

Hey gang,

These past two weeks have been pretty normal. Nothing of extreme note has happened. I've been chillin in the Maine winter, being a student, having friends, eating food, respecting my roommates, videotaping them smashing a guitar in our home,  whatever.

Currently Living the Zero Degrees (Fahrenheit? Kelvin? Who Knows!?) Life Here

Hey kids,

It's the first Wednesday since classes have started and I am oddly tired despite the average workload. I blame it on all of my classes being between 8 am and 10:50 in the morning and then a night class from 7:30 to 10:30 pm, but who are we kidding the real culprit here is the new Sherlock episodes and American Horror Story.
