Hey folks. If you haven't read Derek's post yet you should. It's gold. However, one nitpicky thing--if you're going to write a nice long post with juicy pictures (which you had all dammed better be), try to include a jump.
BUT RICHARD, WHAT ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH IS A JUMP?
A jump is that little thing that says "Read more..." and when you click it it takes you to the full post.
Like this. (More after the jump)
This way, when we click the page, it doesn't have to load all of the text and pictures, but rather just a little snippet of everyone's posts. That'll speed up load times, which'll be nice.
WOW RICHARD, THAT SOUNDS GREAT. BUT HOW?!
I'll explain to you, loud and inept reader. Simply click the button that looks like a sheet of paper fed through a buzz saw on the toolbar in the "New Post" tab. It's up there between the movie-clacker-thingy button and all of the line spacing shit. Hit that, and a grey line will appear across where your cursor is. That's your jump.
Alrighty, that's all. See you on thursday.
Shank you for ze tip, O Enlightened One.
